Born in 1995 in Aichi Prefecture Graduated from the Department of Architecture, Faculty of Art and Design, Musashino Art University As a CG creator, I belong to the creative platform "Sandwich.inc" run by sculptor Kohei Nawa, and have been working on spatial design and production using 3D technology and programming.
At the same time, I also work at an architectural design office and am involved in design work and the development of modeling tools. Some of the projects I have worked on:
・3D production and structural design for Kohei Nawa's large-scale installation “Metamorphosis Garden” exhibited in the atrium space of GINZA SIX from April 2021 to October 2022
・Interior design for cafe (THISIS)SHIZEN in Shinpūkan, Kyoto
・Programming for the wall work “CYCLE” installed in a complex in Ibaraki City, Osaka
・All processes involved in the design and construction of ADX Co., Ltd.'s architectural work "SANU BEE" (drawings, 3D, programming, site management) Mr. Koike has established a unique expression that transcends the boundaries between contemporary art and architecture through works that breathe life into the space itself and explore the essence of time and movement.
Product Overview
--------------
This "Blur" series was created by combining 3D and programming. While working on Sandwich Inc., the artist came into contact with contemporary dance and was inspired by its unique human movements.
The movement of lines is created from the movement of people, and color is generated from the movement of the lines. By drawing the figure of a running person with countless lines, the lines move together every time the person moves.
Also, as this movement accelerates, the outline of the line gradually becomes blurred, and this effect creates the illusion that time and space itself is wavering.
As for the colors, we use a limited number of shades of blue, white, and black, and although these three colors are simple, they play an important role in giving a sense of time and space.
Blue expresses stillness and calm, black expresses shadow and weight, and white expresses air and lightness, and as these elements are intricately intertwined, it expresses the repeated stagnation, disappearance, and rebirth of form.
This is SUZUVERSE art's first video work.
